Design@six | Wetherby's Award-Winning Card & Gift Shop

Design@six began in 2012, when we decided to take on a card and gift shop in the beautiful market town of Wetherby. Having just welcomed our second child, we were looking for something a little more stable, while still doing something we truly enjoyed.

 

With over 10 years of experience in the greeting card industry, we set out to create a shop filled with thoughtful, high quality cards and gifts a place where people feel welcome and can always find something special. As a family run business, togetherness is at the heart of everything we do. We take pride in the little details, and you’ll often find us with a duster in hand, making sure everything is just right.

 

Over the years, we’ve built a warm and loyal community of customers, from little ones searching for the latest favourites to familiar faces who pop in for a browse and a chat. Design@six is more than just a shop to us it’s a place where people come together, and we’re proud to be part of the Wetherby community.

Our journey was also recognised in 2026 when we were honoured to receive the RETAS Award for Best Independent Greeting Card Retailer in the North East. After being shortlisted as finalists in previous years, 2026 was finally our year, a truly special moment and a wonderful recognition of the passion, creativity and care that goes into everything we do at Design@six.
